Smart film in Sittard-Geleen
Our premises are in Geleen, at Bedrijfsweg 82. For homes, offices and business premises in Sittard-Geleen, Privé Glas is right around the corner. Smart film makes your existing glass switchable between clear and frosted, without replacing windows.
How smart film works on existing glass
Smart film, also called PDLC film, is a thin switchable film applied to your existing pane. So you do not need to replace the glass.
Without power the film is frosted, with a milky-glass effect that lets light through but blurs the view. With power the film turns clear, with 92% transparency.
You control the film via the app, the remote control or with Google Home and Alexa. The film blocks up to 99% of UV radiation and comes with a 4-year warranty.
Applications in Sittard-Geleen
Sittard-Geleen combines residential areas with business parks and the region's chemical industry. From living room to office, wherever there is glass, smart film can give privacy on demand.
Offices on business parks
Meeting rooms and offices with glass walls turn frosted for a confidential conversation and clear and open again afterwards.
Business premises
An office overlooking the work floor or a glass wall to reception gets privacy when you need it.
Smart living and working
The Wi-Fi transformer works with Google Home and Alexa, so smart film fits into a smart home or office.
