Homes and renovations
Street-facing windows, glass front doors or a glass wall between kitchen and living room: with smart film you switch between clear and frosted yourself, via the app or remote control.
How smart film works on existing glass
Smart film, also called PDLC film, is a thin switchable film applied to your existing pane. So you do not need to replace the glass.
Without power the film is frosted, with a milky-glass effect that lets light through but blurs the view. With power the film turns clear, with 92% transparency.
You control the film via the app, the remote control or with Google Home and Alexa. The film blocks up to 99% of UV radiation and comes with a 4-year warranty.
Applications in Limburg
In Limburg it is often about detached and semi-detached homes and SMEs with an office or showroom on the street. Smart film gives privacy on the glass where you want it, without losing daylight.
SMEs with an office or showroom
An office behind the showroom or a meeting room with a glass wall can be frosted during a client meeting and stay clear for the rest of the day.
Practices and professionals
For a practice, hair salon or beauty salon, a street-facing window can be frosted during a treatment while the light still comes in.
Smart home
The Wi-Fi transformer works with the app and with Google Home and Alexa. That way smart film fits into a home where lighting and other devices are already controlled smartly.
